Magen Am USA, based in Los Angeles, ran a five-day firearms training camp this summer for rabbis. Twenty Chabad Hasidic rabbis from twelve states took part after thirty-seven applied for the twenty openings.

The sessions sought to ready them for possible dangers at synagogues and in their communities. The group is a registered 501(c)3 licensed to furnish physical security and supplies on-site protection drawn from the community itself.

Magen Am also offers private sessions, Rifle 1 and Pistol 1 classes, a firearms course for women, and training in immediate first aid after an attack.
