Illinois Governor JB Pritzker appeared Tuesday on MS NOW program The Briefing after President Donald Trump spoke at a September 11 gathering. Trump recalled fearing that a United States Steel building would collapse and said two firefighters lifted him and rushed him away.

Host Jen Psaki asked Pritzker for his reaction. Pritzker called the account invented, said Trump repeatedly deceives people and is excessively self focused, and argued that Trump now appears cognitively impaired in a way he did not when he first ran for president in 2015.
