A 43-year-old Honduran national without legal status, Erlin Y. Lagos-Gonzales, is charged with voluntary manslaughter in the fatal stabbing of coworker Adonis Edgardo Aguilar-Juarez, 32, on August 31 at a dairy in Kearny County, Kansas. The Finney County Sheriff’s Office made the arrest.

Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach said a final removal order was issued on July 24, 2025 after Lagos-Gonzales missed an immigration hearing. He remains jailed on a $500,000 bond, with his first court appearance set for Tuesday.
