House Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries of New York appeared Friday on CNN OutFront and charged that the MAGA movement has sought to damage the United States. He urged support for James Talarico and said Democrats in Texas and elsewhere must work to close that political chapter, recapture the House, and if possible the Senate, while pursuing lower living costs that he attributed to Republican policies.

Jeffries pledged total effort to regain House control and credited Jasmine with aiding other members who are campaigning nationwide. He said every Democrat must participate because defeat cannot be accepted, that the movement has worsened conditions for Americans, and that voters on November 3 will reject it.
