Iowa Republican Representative Ashley Hinson, a Senate nominee, told the Guy Benson Show on Fox News Radio Wednesday that any China agreement should protect U.S. farmers after years of unreliable soybean purchases.

She urged President Trump to confront Beijing over broken promises and said she has introduced a bill to punish trade violations. Hinson cited Chinese steel entering the United States through Canadian companies as an example of tariff evasion that must stop.

She added that the United States should cut costs, strengthen supply chains, and keep food export markets open while ensuring China meets its commitments and faces enforcement tools.
