Texas Congressman Brandon Gill appeared Friday on Fox News Channel program The Will Cain Show and criticized Lindsay Clancy’s lawyers for presenting the accused killer as courageous. Gill said she warrants punishment, not pity, for the alleged slaying of her three children.
He reserved compassion exclusively for the young victims. Gill maintained that mental health struggles confer no right to kill children or anyone else and that right and wrong stay distinguishable.
Gill noted the woman, who may have had unspecified personal troubles, killed three children and that justice calls for the death penalty or at least lifelong imprisonment regardless of any voices.
