Nebraska Representative Mike Flood said Friday that China has not completed its promised purchases of American soybeans. He spoke on C-SPAN’s Ceasefire program and pointed to the Chinese leader’s visit to Washington as a chance to finish the March commitment. China bought one million cubic tons two weeks earlier.

Completing those remaining purchases would aid American agriculture and Nebraska soybean farmers. Soybean prices have started to rise.
