House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan said on Breitbart News Daily that a new wave of Democratic candidates fully back socialism and seek to end the American focus on personal independence.
He cited New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who took office nine months and four days earlier and pledged to govern as a Democratic Socialist while urging a shift from self-reliance toward group-centered policies. Jordan also named El-Sayed and other similar candidates, warning the approach contradicts the 1776 founding emphasis on individual liberty and the belief that effort produces results.
He said Republicans should stress that contrast in the next 60 days. Midterms often hurt the party in power across roughly 20 to 25 decisive seats, yet he argued President Trump’s pattern of defying history, strong GOP nominees, and recent map changes could still deliver a Republican win.
