The Department of Homeland Security has entered another 5,000 people who are in the country illegally and hold criminal convictions into its searchable public site at WOW.DHS.gov, raising the total above 40,000. Secretary Markwayne Mullin said the administration favors openness so residents can review the individuals ICE is taking out of local areas.

Newly listed people include Jose Alberto Mendoza, a Surenos member from Mexico arrested in San Jose with homicide and weapons convictions; Selina Shiuli of Bangladesh, arrested in Charlotte on second-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder; Eddy Lopez, another Surenos member from Mexico held in Soledad for attempted murder; Douglas Benitez-Herrera of Honduras, arrested in Ray Brook after manslaughter; and Marco Nunez-Mitjan of Cuba, arrested in Orlando for lewd acts with a minor plus failure to register as a sex offender.

Mullin said the posted names remain only part of the caseload ICE officers handle each day and that removals will continue because American safety comes first.
