A 37-year-old Philippine national living in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, received lawful permanent resident status from the Department of Homeland Security in July 2024. She enrolled as a voter on October 9 and cast a ballot in the November 5 presidential contest. Federal prosecutors later said she admitted guilt to unlawful voting.

She told FBI agents she signed up online and voted in person on election day. Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin credited Homeland Security Investigations and Justice Department partners in the case.
