California Democratic Representative Robert Garcia spoke Wednesday on MS NOW’s The Weeknight about fellow Democrat Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania. Garcia said Fetterman would play no role in the autumn midterm elections and forecast that Democrats would win both the Senate and the House if they campaign well and convince voters.

He found it regrettable that another Senate member of his party holds positions he sees as mismatched with most Americans and the nation’s path. Garcia urged focusing on a weekend contrast between those hosting costly two-day self-celebrations and those seeking lower prices for fuel, food, and housing. He hoped Democrats would gain a Senate majority large enough that Fetterman’s vote would matter less.
