Representative Robert Garcia of California appeared Tuesday on CNN OutFront and said he worries about President Donald Trump’s psychological condition. Asked about recent Truth Social activity, Garcia said many congressional Republicans fear the president is jeopardizing their November chances and is ignoring the agenda he once promised.

Garcia said the public should feel anger at the volume of posts, which he called strange, insulting to partners, and untrue, and unfit for any American president. He said the handling of Canada and other North American partners embarrasses the White House and the country and shows disrespect.

Garcia said many people, including himself, now question whether Trump remains fully capable, citing dozing in meetings and odd remarks, and called that troubling for someone holding the presidency.
