Pennsylvania Democratic Representative Madeleine Dean appeared on a NewsNation town hall Tuesday. She said residents of her state seek a different course because they do not regard immigration enforcement roundups as the country’s proper direction.

Dean predicted Democrats would recapture the House, identifying five Pennsylvania districts that could switch parties and candidates who are performing strongly. She described local sentiment as anxious yet determined to pursue accountability, lower prices, and an end to graft, harsh treatment, those roundups, perpetual conflicts, lost reliability among partners, and erratic trade taxes that have raised costs. Constituents, she added, regard the president as unstable and want a new majority to close that chapter.
