Representative Jason Crow of Colorado said Thursday on Bloomberg Balance of Power that Democrats would restore Affordable Care Act subsidies to bring insurance costs down. He stated that premiums have grown unaffordable, that people are losing coverage, and that lawmakers can act.

Asked what Democrats could do first if they win a House majority while the president still has two years left, Crow named ending the Iran war because of hundreds of billions in costs and higher energy prices. He next called for accountability over tens of billions wasted through fraud and abuse at the Defense Department and other agencies that he said flow to insiders rather than programs or taxpayers.
