On Wednesday Senator Ted Cruz told Fox News host Sean Hannity that Democrats using gasoline prices against Republicans had once favored fuel at ten dollars a gallon.
Cruz reported a national average near four dollars, lower than the five dollars under Joe Biden and higher than the three dollars after Donald Trump took office, and still above the first year of this Trump term. He said those Democrats all wanted higher prices and that Texas candidate James Talarico had called for oil and gas to vanish and for capitalism to be ended.
Cruz cited the highest median family income and lowest family poverty on record as facts major news organizations would not mention. He separately said Iran obtaining a nuclear device posed too high a chance of use against American cities, that Trump was acting on it, and that fighting stayed limited while economic pressure hurt the Iranian government.
