Representative John Moolenaar of Michigan, chair of the House panel focused on the Chinese Communist Party, addressed a CNN report Friday during an appearance on The Source. The network said several sources indicated Beijing supplied Tehran with satellite pictures and other data that aided threats against vessels in the Strait of Hormuz plus accurate attacks on American installations in the Middle East.

Moolenaar noted that China assists both Russia and Iran and furnishes goods usable for civilian or military ends, including in this case material able to strike United States service members. He said the administration is telling Beijing through several routes that the assistance is improper and that those communications are occurring.
