Senator Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee told a Newsmax audience on Thursday that federal AI rules must strip political slant from how large language models are trained so conservatives are treated fairly.
She also urged uniform privacy standards across the internet under a single overseer, child protections through the Kids Online Safety Act, creator rights through the NO FAKES Act, consumer safeguards, and limits on utility rate hikes. Blackburn said poor training data produces poor model results and that any new consumer rules should remain modest.
