Florida Democratic Senate candidate Angie Nixon said Monday on MS NOW The Beat that President Donald Trump functions as a communist. Nixon noted nearly two decades of union and community organizing in Florida, a distinctive mixed statewide coalition, and more than 700 volunteers canvassing homes last weekend, with that effort still growing.

Nixon said Ashley Moody aligns fully with Trump. She cited a prior guest describing a Venezuelan takeover and oil-reserve sales, which she labeled communist, plus Trump asserting control over private industry abroad and aligning with North Korea’s communist leader. She concluded Moody is harmful for Florida.
