What the interview makes clear is that these ideas are being sold with the same moral certainty once reserved for civil-rights causes, yet they carry direct consequences for the right to keep and bear arms: every new tax, every new regulatory agency, and every reduction in law-enforcement funding creates fresh pressure points gun owners will have to litigate or legislate around for years to come.
